A must was to keep the fish pond and cherry & tobacco trees while at the same time nestling into the site a new contemporary home and new landscaping. To complement the new home, there is an outdoor kitchen and pergola for outdoor entertaining year-round. If the weather is a bit inclement for dining outside, a heated covered floating deck is just the ticket for friends and family.

Locally sourced wood siding from Gypsum Colorado and stone veneer via the Laporte Quarry cut down on embedded energy in the build process.

White oak flooring and window sills complement the home’s maple island countertop and other solid surface details.

It’s time for appetizers and wine; the wine room can seat up to 8 guests to enjoy the latest release of new wine from the vineyard.
