HIDDEN POND JEWEL BOX

A touch of elegance

Modern and craftsman construction mixed wonderfully together to create an intimate home that is full of details and lives much larger than its 2,000 square feet.

The front entrance, constructed of stone & timber, welcomes you to this jewel box of a home, while the boulder wall at the rear patio nestles you into the backyard area. Stained & polished concrete floors transfer heat in the colder months via the radiant in-floor heating system, while Sierra Pacific Windows keep out the exterior elements. The home produces its electricity via the 3.8 kW solar PV electric system, while maple cabinets, bronze painted doors, and timbers & steel connections bring warmth to this home.

This is a superb example of a modern craftsman home in the Fort Collins area!

Lamar Valley Craftsman collaborated with Architect – Olexa Tkachenko, on this home project.

While doing research on builders, Barry’s Lamar Valley Craftsman kept popping up at every turn so we took that as a sign and gave him a call. We immediately clicked with Barry and together with an amazing architect, our custom home was designed and built. We found Barry to be passionate and committed as well as patient and a problem solver. He was very environmentally conscious, kept a clean/safe job site, finished on time, and honored his flat-rate service fee. We were very hands-on clients and he met with us on a weekly basis and made adjustments/suggestions to meet our needs and improve the design. Barry put his heart into our project and between him, his team, and our architect, we ended up with a beautiful energy-efficient home that is unique and fits our lifestyle perfectly.
